March 27th Program Change

We had to make a change in the March programme due to the illness of our presenter Arlene Gehmacher. Our own Gary Strutt agreed to step in at the last minute.
The title of Gary’s presentation is “FLYING HIGH IN SCARBOROUGH: A LOOK AT OUR LESS THAN ILLUSTRIOUS AVIATION HISTORY”. A Power Point presentation looking at the early days of civil aviation in Canada but focusing on Scarborough and its ill-fated attempt at aviation immortality.

The Scarborough Historical Society hosts programmes on the 4th Tuesday of each month from January to April and from September to November. All programmes begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Bendale Public Library, 1515 Danforth Road, Scarborough, ON M1J 1H5 and are free and open to the public.
